The two robotics teams <\/span>Canigo<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>\u201cVetus Artem\u201d<\/b> and <\/span>\u201cNovum Aera\u201d<\/b> have qualified for the <\/span>national grand final<\/b> of the tournament <\/span>First\u00ae <\/span>Lego\u00ae<\/span> <\/span><\/span>League<\/a>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The team <\/span>“Ancient Art”<\/b>  is made up entirely of 2nd year students of  <\/span>ESO<\/span><\/a>. Last Saturday, February 3d, they won the <\/span>\u201cI am an Engineer\u201d Award<\/b> in the regional phase of the competition after a <\/span>great performance by their team and their robot<\/b>. And thus, they got their ticket to the grand final.They also received the <\/span>nomination<\/b> of <\/span>“Global Innovation Awards”<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Team classification <\/span>“New Air”<\/b> made up of 3rd and 4th year students <\/span>ESO<\/span><\/a>, took place on February 17th. During the celebration of the <\/span>First Lego League from Barcelona<\/b>: they obtained the <\/span>first Innovation Award<\/b> and the <\/span>second Engineer Prize \u201cI am\u201d<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u201cI am an Engineer\u201d Awards for the two teams of the Canig\u00f3 School<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This international competition has taken place in <\/span>more than 100 countries<\/b> for almost <\/span>30 years<\/b>. It promotes interest in learning in<\/span> science<\/b> and <\/span>technology <\/b>amongst young people . The initiative invites students to create a project and participate in a competition to understand concepts related to <\/span>STEAM areas<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Participants develop their skills in an exciting competition consisting of three challenges: <\/span>design and program a robot<\/b>, share and develop the values \u200b\u200bof <\/span>teamwork<\/b> and research and develop an innovative<\/span> solution<\/b> that solves a real problem on a topic that varies annually. In this edition, the topic to be developed is <\/span>\u201cthe role that STEM areas play in art\u201d<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span>The awards received this year by the two teams of the <\/span>Canigo School<\/span><\/a>: <\/span>Engineer Award \u201cI am\u201d<\/b> of <\/span>Vetus Artem<\/b>, second<\/span> Engineering award \u201cI am\u201d and <\/b>first <\/span>Innovation Award<\/b> of <\/span>Novum Aera<\/b>, qualifies both teams for the <\/span>Spanish Grand Final<\/b> that will be celebrated in <\/span>Alicante<\/b> on <\/span>March 16th<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>
